As winemakers do – we experiment! Carvalho Americano is the name for our Tinta da Vida wine, aged for an additional year on American oak. This brought a whole new dimension to our blend of Tinta Roriz, Tinta Cão and Souzão. These Portuguese varietals are unique for their deep color, solid acid structure and pronounced tannins. A gold award winning wine, going for double!
